The education system of the region focuses on increasing the quality of education, improving the academic process and resource provision via technology and information support, development of different models of education in line with the development programme for 2006-2010.
The development programme is set to:
-expand opportunities for all schoolchildren taking into account their abilities and demands;
-increase the role of extended education for children;
-augment the network of correctional and pedagogical, socio-psychological, medical services;
-develop regional specialist schools;
-develop experimental and innovation activity;
-develop children’s creativity.
